Gayle Forman to visit Pittsburgh

YA author Gayle Forman will speak at Carnegie Library Lecture Hall inside Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Oakland branch on Friday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m.  Forman wrote If I Stay and its sequel, Where She WentIf I Stay is about one teenager’s tough choice: Whether to hang on and push through a coma she is in after a car crash that killed her parents or brother — to stay on Earth and grieve them — or to let go and join them in death.  This tragic tear-jearker is quite inspiring.  Tickets are only $15, or 2 for $25.  Ask Miss Huth in the library for a flier or more information.
